Create a family and invite people
How organizers set up a family, invite adults and kids, and change roles.
A family is the shared space where everyone plans together.
Create the family
From your profile menu choose Create a family, give it a name and set your home base address. Every drive time on the site is measured from there.
Roles
- Organizer — can change family details and the home base, invite and remove people, change roles, set the vote limit, and share the list. - Member — can add places, vote, log trips and rate them.
Invite people
Organizers open Members and send an invite. Each invite creates a single-use link. The person opens it, signs in (or signs up), and joins your family.
Only organizers can add or remove people, or promote a member to organizer.
Change the home base
Organizers can edit the family name and home base at any time in family settings. Drive times update for everyone.
