The family list, votes and "we went
How places get onto your list, how voting works, and what happens after a trip.
Adding places
Anyone in the family can add a place — from the directory (the + button on a card) or by pasting a URL. Pasting a link pulls in the title, description and image automatically. It appears on your family list straight away, and goes into our review queue before it becomes a public directory entry.
Voting
Every member has a limited number of votes at once — three by default. Organizers can change the limit in family settings.
- Vote for anything on the list.
- Remove your vote at any time to spend it elsewhere.
- The list is always ranked by votes, so the top item is what the family wants most.
We went
When you actually go, any member taps We went. That removes the place from the active list and moves it into your history — and everyone who voted for it gets their vote back to use on something else.
Rating it afterwards
Each member scores the trip: 0 = never again, 1 = sure, 2 = definitely, and can leave a comment. Those scores feed the suggestions we make next time.
